Terms and conditions
The NESA Shop is operated by the NSW Education Standards Authority (ABN: 68 331 844 953). Use of the NESA Shop is subject to the following terms and conditions.
All prices quoted in NESA Shop are in Australian dollars, and include GST where applicable. All prices are correct at the time of online publication. Prices are subject to change without notice. Where sale items are advertised, the sale price will only be available for the indicated specified time period.
A volume discount of 10% is automatically applied at the checkout to all orders (except for wholesalers) when 10 or more of the same item are ordered online. This is applied only to items where 10 or more are ordered and not to the entire order.
Discounts are only applicable to online orders.
Domestic orders from schools, teachers, parents, students or members of the public are shipped via Australia Post regular post and will arrive between 2–4 working days. The following fixed rates apply.
1 item $4.90
2–3 items $9.80
4–19 items $14.40
20+ items $24.10 (maximum postage payable on any one order)
If NESA needs to ship an order in more than one dispatch, you will be charged only for the original delivery charges and NESA will pay for any additional delivery charges.
No shipping charges apply to wholesale/reseller orders.
International orders will be charged at an economy postage rate calculated per kg of parcel weight (to one international address). Expected delivery time can be from 4–6 weeks from the time of dispatch, depending on the country of destination.
Order handling times
We endeavour to process all orders within 48 hours from the receipt of the order.
Credit card (Visa or Mastercard) payments are accepted through the Westpac payment gateway for all orders. All purchases made using credit cards will incur a 0.4% surcharge (GST inclusive).
All NSW schools and approved credit account wholesale/reseller customers will be invoiced on a 30-day credit account. Provided an account is paid within the 30 days, wholesalers and resellers are eligible for a discount of 40% on goods ordered. This will automatically be applied at the checkout.
You will receive an order confirmation by email as soon as you place an order at the online store. Tax invoices/receipts for online purchase transactions are normally sent with the goods. If for any reason you don’t receive the invoice, contact the NESA Shop team.
We endeavour to keep or maintain stock levels for all titles listed. However, unforeseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable.
If stock is unavailable the item will be marked as ‘temporarily out of stock’. Please note that we don’t back order any items that are temporarily out of stock.
Requests for returns, refunds or exchange of goods
NESA will gladly accept exchange of items purchased from the online shop if the goods you have received are damaged. If items are missing from your order we will send you any missing items.
NESA will gladly accept a return of goods purchased from the online shop for an exchange or refund if the goods you have received are significantly different to the description on the NESA Shop. All goods being returned that are significantly different from the description must be returned to NESA in saleable condition.
Refunds or exchanges will not be given for a change of mind.
You will need to pay the cost of returning any refund or exchange items to NESA Shop. If we deem that your claim is valid we will reimburse you for the reasonable cost of your postage.
Please email the NESA Shop firstname.lastname@example.org or phone us on +61 2 8855 5295 (between 8.30am to 3.30pm AEST) to lodge a request for a refund or exchange. Please ensure you have your tax invoice or order number on hand.
Requests for cancellation of orders
Providing an order has not been dispatched, we are able to cancel an online order. Requests for cancellation should be made by phoning the NESA Shop on +61 2 8855 5295 as soon as possible after placing your order.
As many orders are dispatched the day of, or day following, receipt we can make no guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order.
Requests for refund of digital downloads
All refunds associated with purchase of digital apps/downloads are governed by the terms of the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store – please see their respective websites for relevant terms and conditions.
As a government agency, NESA is required to comply with the Information Protection Principles (IPPs) in the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (PPIP Act). These regulate the collection, storage, use and disclosure of personal information held by government agencies.
Under the PPIP Act, you have the right to access your personal information held by NESA, without excessive delay or expense. You also have the right to have your personal information corrected in certain circumstances (eg if it is inaccurate).

Your account details
You are responsible for keeping your NESA Shop login and password details confidential and secure. All credit card details are secured through our Westpac payment gateway.
